Mrs. Anca Verma inaugurates Hindustan Art & Music Society annual event Aug 28, 2026

Mrs. Anca Verma, Managing Trustee of the Shrikant Verma Trust, attended today’s programme organised by the Hindustan Art & Music Society in New Delhi as the Chief Guest.

The event was presided over by legendary Kathak exponent and Padma Shri Dr. Shovana Narayan, one of India’s most distinguished Kathak exponent.

Mrs. Verma announced that the Shrikant Verma Trust will institute two annual scholarships of ₹1 lakh each with the objective of encouraging young talent and supporting advanced training in Indian classical music and performing arts.

Mrs. Verma also presented a ₹50,000 contribution from the Shrikant Verma Trust towards the Society’s future cultural programmes and its efforts to preserve and advance India’s classical music and performing arts.
