Funeral of Late Veena Verma Ji ~ Lodhi crematorium ~ Delhi ~ 7th February 2024

Veena Verma ji passed on for heavenly abode from the Max Hospital Delhi.

The family of late Veena Verma ji mourns her passing on February 6th, 2024, at 3.14 am, after a courageous battle with age-related multiple illnesses. She passed away at Max Hospital, Saket, New Delhi, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on September 1st, 1941, the late Veena Verma ji lived a life of remarkable dedication to public service. In 1967, she married famous writer and poet Shrikant Verma, and together they embarked on a distinguished career as Members of the Indian Parliament, serving the nation for decades. Their unwavering commitment to the well-being of their constituents left an indelible mark on Indian politics.

Beyond her political achievements, the Late Veena Verma ji was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She cherished her family above all else, and her warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her son, Abhishek Verma, his wife Anca Verma, and their daughter, Nicolle Verma and all other family members and friends of the Verma family.

The cremation of the Late Veena Verma Ji was held on the 7th of February 2024 at 2.30 pm at Lodhi Crematorium, Delhi. Hundreds of VIPs, politicians, friends, family and well-wishers had gathered for the last rites.

Abhishek Verma (son) conducted all rituals according to the Vedic Sanatan Hindu religion.

May God give Veena Ji a place in heaven at the feet of the almighty Lord.
