Dr. Abhishek Verma Launches Kanwar Seva Initiative at Shiv Kanwar Samiti Camp in Delhi

Dr. Abhishek Verma, Chief National Coordinator, ShivSena NDA Alliance & Elections, attended the Shiv Kanwar Samiti Camp in Shahdara, Delhi as the Chief Guest, where he formally launched the Kanwar Seva Initiative dedicated to serving lakhs of Kanwariyas undertaking their sacred pilgrimage during the holy month of Shravan.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Verma paid tribute to the unwavering faith, discipline and determination of the Kanwariyas, who walk hundreds of kilometres carrying the sacred Ganga Jal to offer at Lord Shiva’s temples. He said their devotion is a powerful symbol of Sanatan values, selfless sacrifice and spiritual commitment.
He emphasized that serving Kanwariyas is not merely a social responsibility but a sacred opportunity to serve Lord Shiva’s devotees, reaffirming ShivSena’s enduring commitment to faith, service and public welfare.
Also present on the occasion was Shri Ramniwas Goyal, Ex Speaker Delhi Assembly, Shri Parminder Manchanda, President of ShivSena Assam, who joined the programme and extended his support to the Kanwar Seva initiative.
शिवसेना-एनडीए गठबंधन एवं चुनाव के मुख्य राष्ट्रीय समन्वयक डॉ. अभिषेक वर्मा ने आज शाहदरा, दिल्ली स्थित शिव कांवड़ समिति शिविर में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित होकर कांवड़ यात्रियों की सेवा हेतु कांवड़ सेवा अभियान का शुभारंभ किया।
अपने संबोधन में डॉ. वर्मा ने कहा कि श्रावण मास में भगवान शिव के भक्त सैकड़ों किलोमीटर की कठिन पदयात्रा कर पवित्र गंगाजल लेकर शिवालयों तक पहुंचते हैं। उनकी अटूट श्रद्धा, अनुशासन, तपस्या और समर्पण पूरे राष्ट्र के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत है।
उन्होंने कहा कि कांवड़ियों की सेवा केवल सामाजिक दायित्व नहीं, बल्कि भगवान शिव के भक्तों की सेवा का एक पावन अवसर है। शिवसेना सदैव सनातन संस्कृति, धर्म सेवा और जनसेवा के प्रति समर्पित रही है तथा आगे भी इसी भावना के साथ कार्य करती रहेगी।
इस अवसर पर श्री राम निवास गोयल, पूर्व विधानसभा अध्यक्ष दिल्ली, शिवसेना असम प्रदेश अध्यक्ष श्री परमिंदर मनचंदा भी उपस्थित रहे और उन्होंने कांवड़ सेवा अभियान में अपना सहयोग एवं समर्थन व्यक्त किया।
